Students enjoy rewards for great attendance

Posted on: 11 September 2021, 8:08pm

Last month there were Transition and Grade 6 classes classe from the Tennant Creek Primary School attend a great event out at the Lake Mary Ann facility hosted by the Remote Student Attendance Strategy team (RSAS) and the Parent and Community Engagement team (PaCE) as a reward for being the highest attending class over several weeks.

A great day was held by all and the enjoyment of playing on the jumping castle, and the wonderful new playground that Barkly Regional Council have just completed made for very active day. At lunchtime a meal of barbecue sausages and bread was prepared and followed by various fruit. The watermelon went over a treat. A big thank you goes to Tennant Creek Freight Lines to Kath and Jack McMkeekin for the use of the forklift to lift the Jumping Castle and to Darren Peckham for the time he devoted out of his busy day to helping us out.
