LAST week the RSAS and PaCE teams from Papulu Apparr-kari Aboriginal Corporation conducted the school holiday program from the Youthlinx building in Purkiss Reserve.

Activities were well attended and started with a bacon, eggs and toast or cereal for breakfast followed by lots of great activities and fun was had by all.

Prior to the program finishing each day the children enjoyed a barbeque lunch, fruit and refreshments before heading off to more activities.

RSAS and PaCE teams in Elliott assisted the Principal at the school while the Ali Curung members worked with the local Barkly Regional Council teams to aid them in their community activities.

RSAS Manager Anita Mayers RSAS Manager said: “We are very thankful to the Barkly Regional Council for aiding us over the school holiday and for the use of Youthlinx during this time.”

As we begin the next term, we encourage parents and carers to ensure their children attend school everyday and if they are sick or going away please let the school know or the RSAS or PaCE teams when you see them or by phoning (08) 8962 3270.
