Just two more weeks of school to go!

AS we start the last two weeks of school for 2015, we remind parents and carers that it remains vital their children attend school.
The importance of attending school every day should not be forgotten.
Many children have travelled from their home communities with families and are not returning home for several weeks for various reason such as funerals, compensation payments, unrest in communities or hospital visits.
If you are away from your home for more than a few days you should enrol your children at the school in the community you are visiting. Education is important for a better future and to miss any school is a disadvantage.
We would like to congratulate the Tennant Creek Primary School on its concert and all the children who attended school the next day even though it was an enormously demanding, fun night putting on a great performance for so many to enjoy.
The Primary School has introduced an application which can be downloaded on to modern media and parents and carers can notify the school through the application if your children are absent for any reason.
If your child is thinking about attending boarding school next year and would like some help, ask your Yellow Shirts and PaCE teams and they can put you in touch with people who can aid you with your forms and advice on Abstudy and school selection.
Dont Miss A Day
